Leasing company Europlan, Russia’s largest by the number of contracts in the automotive leasing segment, announced receiving of 30 million Euro loan from KfW IPEX-Bank (part of KfW Bankengruppe). The credit line is directed to leasing operations, the principal activity of Europlan. Credit term is 4,5 years.
“This is a outstanding transaction in the current market environment. This loan is the best evidence of long term credit history and cooperation between parties, - Alexander Mikhailov, Vice-President for Business Development of Europlan said. - Financing for 4,5 years obtained from the long-term partner is one more evidence of the effectiveness of retail auto leasing business model in Russia”. The Europlan representative has highly evaluated the work done by KfW IPEX-Bank, and has expressed an interest in the further development of cooperation.
This loan has become the fifth transaction between Europlan and the KfW Bankengruppe. Two of the loans have been given within the limits of program DEG, member of KfW Bankengruppe, first of them - in 2004.
